In addition to the useful sites and information on the Advent TV flyer, you may enjoy these as well:

Pope Benedict XVI delivered a beautiful homily at First Sunday of Advent Vespers I, which was also a Prayer Vigil for All Nascent Human Life, speaking about the dignity of every human person from womb to tomb. Read his profound remarks at:

The Church’s New Year begins this First Sunday of Advent.  Advent is a wonderful Season, a time to prepare to recall and celebrate the First Coming of Christ as a babe, as we prepare well for His Second Coming in glory to judge the living and the dead, and for every other coming of Christ to us in Word and Sacrament, in our neighbor and in prayer, and in the various circumstances we will live through until we see Him face to face.

I hope you will find useful both the resources I recommend and the Advent conversations I hold with Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Cantú on Prepare The Way, my weekly  TV show (Catholic Television of San Antonio – CTSA Channel 15, Time Warner Cable) as you prepare the way of the Lord.
